Overcrowding in border facilities is at unprecedented levels.

Today, right now, there is a crisis at America’s Southern Border. The current situation reflects a policy crisis but more importantly, a humanitarian crisis. U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the Department of Homeland Security, and the Department of Health and Human Services are overwhelmed. Their facilities are beyond capacity and processing times are at record lengths. Worse yet, once migrants are processed at the appropriate facilities, they must wait up to five (5) years to get in front of a judge to make their case for asylum. In the meantime, they are left to roam with no direction, no work authorization, no money, and nowhere to go. That is where Ayúdame Nonprofit steps in.

Ayúdame Nonprofit takes the obligation to care for our fellow human seriously. Staff and volunteers are at the front lines to ensure that in America, regardless of your circumstances, you are treated with dignity. We are providing food, water, first-aid supplies, directions for access to free legal care, and free transport to jurisdictions in which migrants can find safety and security. Rights and access for undocumented immigrants vary widely among the States. Some jurisdictions permit undocumented immigrants to obtain a driver’s license, income assistance, and food vouchers. Others create an inhospitable and unwelcome environment, to state it mildly. Ayúdame Nonprofit is there to help indigent migrants make smarter choices in order to live with dignity while waiting through historic systemic backlog.

Please join us and help us, so that we can help as many people as we can. Unfortunately, there are too many that need help right now. Every little bit makes a world of difference.
