Ayúdame Nonprofit

WE ARE
ALL HUMAN

Under current immigration law, migrants who follow the legal process and seek asylum are processed and thrown onto the streets without direction, support, work authorization, or a way to survive.

Ayúdame Nonprofit ensures they have a soft bed, warm meal, and guidance to ensure survival while awaiting their court date. Due to current court backlogs, this wait is on average 3.75 years.

WE ARE HERE TO HELP!

Most people don’t know that a migrant seeking asylum must do so from within the United States, either at a port of entry or otherwise. However, by following the lawful procedure and arriving in America without a visa (there is no asylum visa), the individual seeking refuge is subject to arrest and indefinite detention. A migrant may qualify for release from custody if they are part of a family unit or have shown to the satisfaction of federal authorities that they pose no flight risk or threat to safety. Upon release, the migrant is given no guidance, no work authorization, no aid, and no direction.

Ayúdame Nonprofit is there to help. We take nothing and give all to indigent migrants who seek nothing but safety. Providing for those seeking refuge is not only an imperative of U.S. and international law but it is the American way.
